USE ONLY UNDER MEDICAL SUPERVISION
- One scoop = 4.44 grams (approx.).
- Mix 1 scoop of BONNA® LOW LACTOSE to 30 mL (1 fl. oz.) of water.
- ***Use only the enclosed scoop. Using more or less powder than indicated will either lead to dehydration or deprive your baby of proper nutrition.
- Do not change proportions without medical advice.
**To maintain the number of living cultures, the boiled water must be cooled down to about body temperature before adding the powder.
- At this age, the infant's diet becomes more diversified (cereals, baby foods). Consult your health professional before introducing any new food to baby's diet. When foods other than formula are introduced, they should be selected carefully in order to be in line with current therapy (such as: absence of lactose).
- In case of acute diarrhea, it is crucial to provide your baby with appropriate amounts of water and electrolytes. Untreated severe loss of water and electrolytes can lead to life-threatening dehydration. Therefore ask your health professional for advice.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of GALACTOSEMIA or GLUCOSE-GALACTOSE malabsorption.
Not intended for parenteral use.
HOW TO PREPARE
- Wash your hands carefully.
- Wash bottle, teat and cap thoroughly. Boil for five minutes. Leave covered until use.
- Boil drinking water and allow to cool.
- Strictly follow the feeding table. First, pour water into the bottle. Then, add powder using only the scoop provided, carefully levelling off the extra powder.
- After each use, place the bag and scoop in an air tight container. Make sure the scoop is dry. Store it in a cool and dry place. Use within 4 weeks of opening.
- Cap the feeding bottle, and shake well until powder is fully dissolved. Check temperature before feeding the baby.
