Why is CERELAC important for babies?

From 6 months onward, babies begin their weaning journey and need nutrient-dense foods alongside breastmilk to support their growing nutritional needs. CERELAC provides important nutrients, including iron, vitamins, and minerals, to help support growth and development. In a recent local study, CERELAC was also Tested + Proven for Pinoy Babies, giving parents added confidence during this important milestone.

Are CERELAC infant cereals fortified with iron?

Yes. CERELAC infant cereals are fortified with iron and provide 50% of your baby's daily iron needs in one serving, helping support normal growth and development.

How do I prepare CERELAC infant cereals?

  • Boil clean drinking water and measure 150mL of water.
  • Add 50 grams or 5 heaping tablespoons of CERELAC.
  • Mix together until the cereal is smooth. Test the temperature before feeding.
  • Optional: Pair with age-appropriate homemade foods for a Tambalang CERELAC + Homemade meal for BIG Sustansya

Does CERELAC contain sugar?

In CERELAC, much of the sugar is intrinsic; meaning sugars that occur naturally in foods like milk, fruits and vegetables. CERELAC offers variants with fruits that are thoughtfully formulated to support the nutritional needs of children during this important stage of growth and development. Any added sugars are well below the applicable local and international nutrition regulations (such as Codex Alimentarius). In addition, we have introduced no added table sugar variants for parents who prefer these options.

Is CERELAC a healthy choice for my baby?

Cerelac is a nutrient-dense complementary food and is specially formulated for babies. Each serving provides 50% of baby's daily Iron needs,  plus it has 20 vitamins and minerals, with DHA and B. lactis Probiotic. Cerelac is made with natural ingredients and does not contain preservatives.

What age can my baby start CERELAC Nutripuffs?

CERELAC® Nutripuffs are suitable for babies 9 months and older. They are specially designed for babies learning to self-feed, with a shape and texture that are easy for little hands to grasp and chew. Nutripuffs also provide nutrients such as Iron, Vitamin B1, Zinc, Calcium, Protein, and Vitamins A & C to help support your little one's growth and development.

How do I serve CERELAC Nutripuffs?

No preparation is needed. Nutripuffs are ready to eat straight from the pack. Offer your little one a few pieces while they are seated and under adult supervisionn. After opening, reseal the pack tightly and store it in a cool, dry place. For best freshness, consume within 14 days.
